We are thrilled to confirm that, after a competitive recruitment process and a strong field of applicants, Tom Hague has been appointed to the role of principal designate of Castle Mead Academy.
Tom, a Teach First and Future Leaders alumnus, is currently deputy principal at Fullhurst Community College and has a strong knowledge of the education landscape in Leicester. He has a proven track record of raising achievement of disadvantaged students and demonstrates a real passion for providing future Castle Mead Academy students with a world-class education.
Tom will be supported in his role by Rita Hindocha, Rushey Mead Academy’s current principal, who has been appointed to the role of Executive Principal within the Trust. In her role as Executive Principal, Rita will oversee Rushey Mead Academy and Castle Mead Academy. Gulbanu Kader, an associate principal within the Trust, has been appointed to the role of Principal at Rushey Mead Academy. This will provide stability and strength to our growing trust, and we are delighted with all three appointments.
Tom and Rita will be at the Castle Mead Academy consultation event on Saturday 16th June from 11.00am-12.30pm at the Holiday Inn Leicester. To book your free place visit www.bookwhen.com/rmet
